ABOUT

Carol Aziz, PhD, PEng, SCR

Founder/Principal of Achieve Sustainability Inc.

Carol wanted to start a different kind of consultancy - one that was purpose-driven, client-centric, and respected people and the planet. So she launched Achieve Sustainability in September 2022 to empower forward-thinking small and medium-sized businesses to improve their competitive advantage by embedding sustainability.

Carol has more than 25 years of experience in environmental consulting,  is certified in Sustainability and Climate Risk by the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP), holds a PhD in Environmental Engineering, and was trained as a greenhouse gas quantifier and climate communicator.

Previously, she served as a Project Director at a non-profit organization, where she focused on climate risk assessment, training, and TCFD support.  Carol also held the role of Principal Consultant at a global environmental and sustainability consultancy, where she directed projects spanning environmental and climate due diligence, waste management, and carbon pricing projects for private sector companies and was a member of the Senior Management team. She also served on the corporate sustainability team at a previous consultancy.
